INSIGHT
Blend the digital with the physical to ease the transition.
To start, we first concepted the experience for phone cases. The design allowed the screen to blend with with the wood shelving and allowed the user to simply start swiping to browse more cases.
Test, try, and prove the concept
We built a functional prototype to test and prove our concept in a real store environment.
Beyond phone cases
The proof of concept was a hit with our client, so we got the green light to take the idea further and handle all types of accessories in store.
Pilot
We executed our concept and established an MVP pilot to be launched in a couple new stores in New York City. We learned a ton from the pilot, both good and bad and took our learnings into the next evolution of the platform.
Product Evolution
The next phase of the product was its evolution into multiple form factors, use cases. Our team provided a strategy and framework that provided a future roadmap for the product.
Results
A new foundation for the future
Endless Aisle laid the foundation for a new retail platform. Our team established a strategy and road map that allowed Verizon to launch completely new store formats and service models, built off of the core design system and principles established in Endless Aisle. The digital retail platform also became the OS powering the bill pay kiosks used in every Verizon store across the country.
